In compliance with Governor Pritzker’s mandate, any individual appearing in person must wear a face-covering to cover their nose and mouth. Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments in advance of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov. ROLL CALL Present Councilwoman Jan Quillman, Councilman Larry E. Hug and Councilman Joe Clement ALSO PRESENT: Deputy Chief Sherrie Blackburn and Deputy Chief Chris Botzum APPROVAL OF MINUTES TMP-3363 Attachments: Minutes 01-04-22 A motion was made by Councilman Hug, seconded by Councilman Clement, to approve the Minutes of the January 4, 2022 Public Safety Committee Meeting. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilwoman Quillman, Councilman Hug and Councilman Clement CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS None. PURCHASES Purchase of BlueTeam NextGen 151-22 Attachments: 2022 - IAPro BlueTeam BlueTeam-NextGen-2021 (1) AG Recommendation EWS Approver Report Deputy Chief Blackburn gave a brief overview of this Council Memo. A brief discussion was held regarding this purchase. A motion was made by Councilman Hug, seconded by Councilman Clement, to recommend for approval to the Full Council Purchase of BlueTeam NextGen.
