A motion was made by Councilman Clement, seconded by Councilman Hug, to
approve the Minutes of the March 1, 2022 Public Safety Committee Meeting.
The motion carried by the following vote:

Fire Chief Blaskey discussed Purchase of one rescue boat for the Joliet Fire
Department.
A motion was made by Councilman Hug, seconded by Councilman Clement, to
recommend for approval Purchase of Rescue Boat. The motion carried by the
following vote:

Standardization of Fire Turnout Gear TMP-3686
A motion was made by Councilman Clement, seconded by Councilman Hug, to
recommend for approval to the Full Council Standardization of Fire Turnout
Gear. The motion carried by the following vote:

A motion was made by Councilman Hug, seconded by Councilman Clement, to
recommend for approval to the Full Council Purchase of the Required Materials
to Upfit Two (2) Ford Transit Vans into Prisoner Transport Vehicles (PTVs). The
motion carried by the following vote:

Purchase of Chain Link Perimeter Fencing, and Privacy Slats for TMP-3695

Batteries and Replacement Parts. The motion carried by the following vote:

Fire Chief Blaskey discussed replacement of all Portable Radios in 2023 for the Fire
Department.
A brief discussion was held regarding replacement of Portable Radios in 2023 for the Fire
Department as well as the Police Department.
