Councilwoman Quillman asks questions regarding service. There was a brief discussion regarding service. A motion was made by Councilman Joe Clement, seconded by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, to recommend for approval COUNCIL MEMO #TMP-6097: Complete the Purchase of the Last 2 of 3 Units for the Drug Enforcement Unit for $105,636.52. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Clement and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman Request to Upgrade/Exchange Glock Firearms for Sworn TMP-6121 Officers Attachments: Public Safety Glock Exchange-Purchase Attachments Deputy Chief Brown briefly explained the Request to Upgrade/Exchange Glock Firearms for Sworn Officers. Councilwoman Quillman requests that someone presents to the Council and the Public, the Glock Firearms and how they will automatically activate the axon cameras. A motion was made by Councilman Joe Clement, seconded by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, to recommend for approval COUNCIL MEMO #TMP-6121: Request to Upgrade/Exchange Glock Firearms for Sworn Officers. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Clement and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman ORDINANCES Ordinance Amending the 2023 Annual Budget for the City of TMP-6095 Joliet and Award of Contract for the 2023-2025 Joliet Fire Department Medical and Fitness Evaluations - RFP to Rock Valley Health in the amount of $362,976.00 Attachments: Fire Dept Fitness Ordinance Fire Chief Carey and Aaron Kozlowski briefly explain Ordinance Amending the 2023 Annual Budget for the City of Joliet and Award of Contract for the 2023-2025 Joliet Fire Department Medical and Fitness Evaluations - RFP to Rock Valley Health in the amount of $362,976.00. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Clement and Councilwoman Hallums Quillman RESOLUTIONS A Resolution Approving an Agreement Between the City of Joliet TMP-6029 and the County of Will for the Provision of Police Services Mutual Aid in the Event of Disaster or Emergency Attachments: RESOLUTION - County of Will COJ Will County Mutual Aid Agreement Police Chief Evans briefly explained document. Councilwoman Quillman briefly discusses resolution with Chief Evans. A motion was made by Councilman Joe Clement, seconded by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, to recommend for approval COUNCIL MEMO #TMP-6029: A Resolution Approving an Agreement Between the City of Joliet and the County of Will for the Provision of Police Services Mutual Aid in the Event of Disaster or Emergency. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilwoman Hallums Quillman and Councilman Clement A Resolution Adopting and Authorizing the Execution of a Grant TMP-6085 Agreement with the Illinois State Police for Activities Supporting the Violent Crime Intelligence Task Force Attachments: Resolution Grant Agreement ISP Violent Crime Intelligence Task Force Police Chief Evans briefly explained Grant. Councilwoman Quillman asks how long Grant will last. Brief discussion on how long the Grant will last.
