The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilwoman Hallums Quillman, Councilman Clement and Councilwoman Reardon CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS This section is for anyone wanting to speak regarding agenda items and are allowed a maximum of 4 minutes. Councilman Clement and Councilwoman Reardon ask questions. Jeff Price answers. Councilman Clement suggests that they bring a Fire Truck to a Council Meeting so that the Public can see what the money is spent on. Purchase of Twenty-One (21) Ford Interceptors from Sutton Ford TMP-6952 Inc. for $881,295.00 and Upfit Materials from Ray O’Herron Co. Inc. for $165,348.80 Jeff Price briefly explains purchase. Magnet Forensics Renewal for Gray Key for the Joliet Police TMP-6992 Department Investigations Division Attachments: Magnet Forensics- GrayKey Renewal Quote A motion was made by Councilman Joe Clement, seconded by Councilwoman Page 1 of 3 Public Safety Committee Meeting Minutes - Final February 6, 2024 Sherri Reardon, to recommend for approval COUNCIL MEMO #TMP-6951, TMP-6952, and TMP-6992. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilwoman Hallums Quillman, Councilman Clement and Councilwoman Reardon ORDINANCES None. RESOLUTIONS A Resolution to Accept and Implement a Grant from the Illinois TMP-6954 Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity under Public Act 103-0006 Attachments: Resolution-Grant Illinois Department of Commerce Chief Evans briefly explains grant. Councilwoman Quillman and Councilwoman Reardon ask questions about grant. Chief Evans answers.
