Award of Contract for the 2023 On-Call Excavation and TMP-5495 Underground Utility Repair Program Allison Swisher, Public Utilities Director, discussed the Award of Contract for the 2023 On-Call Excavation and Underground Utility Repair Program, in the amount of $350,000.00, awarded to Austin Tyler Construction Inc., Airy's Inc., and PT Ferro Construction Co., to be paid to the contractors based on the unit prices provided in their bids. A motion was made by Councilman Terry Morris, seconded by Councilman Larry E. Hug, to recommend for approval by full Council TMP-5413 and TMP-5495. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Hug and Councilman Morris Absent: Councilwoman Gavin NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION Emergency Purchase of Sodium Permanganate Allison Swisher discussed the emergency purchase of Sodium Permanganate, in the amount of $100,620.00, from Hawkins Water Treatment Group. This emergency purchase is until Carus is back in production. Emergency Roof repair from storm damage incurred March 31, 2023. We are in the process of getting pricing for repairs. Overview of Final Water Supply Agreement with City of TMP-5497 Chicago Attachments: Joliet PSC Presentation 4-3-23 Chicago Agreement.pdf Allison Swisher discussed the overview of Final Water Supply Agreement with City of Chicago. This will be presented to full Council at Pre-Council on 4/17/23 as well as at the City Council Meeting on 4/18/23.
