Hug, to approve the May 20, 2024 Public Service Minutes. CONTRACTS Award of Contract for the 2024 Native Landscaping ID-1701-20 Maintenance and Restoration Program to Tallgrass Restoration LLC in the amount of $30,130.00 Allison Swisher, Director of Public Utilities, discussed the 2024 Native Landscaping Maintenance and Restoration Program contract, in the amount of $30,130.00, to Tallgrass Restoration LLC. Award of Professional Services Agreement for Professional ID-1702-20 Engineering Support Services to Baxter & Woodman, Inc. in the amount of $150,000.00 Anthony Anczer, Deputy Director Engineering, discussed the Award of Professional Services Agreement for Professional Engineering Support Services, in the amount of $150,000.00, to Baxter & Woodman, Inc. A motion was made by Councilman Larry E. Hug, seconded by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to table ID-1702-20 to the 6/17/2024 Public Service Meeting. Award of Professional Services Agreement for Engineering ID-1704-20 Design Services for the Des Plaines River Tunnel Crossing Rehabilitation Project for the Water Main Replacement Program to Jacob Associates dba Delve Underground in the amount of $142,356.00 Anthony Anczer discussed the Professional Services Agreement for Engineering Design Services for the Des Plaines River Tunnel Crossing Rehabilitation project assessment for the Water Main Replacement program, in the amount of $142,356.00, to Jacob Associates dba Delve Underground. This phase is for assessment and design. Purchase of one (1) Ford Transit and one (1) Ford F550 KUV ID-1705-20 for Public Utilities Greg Ruddy, Public Works Director, discussed the purchase of two vehicles for the Public Utilities Department. One Ford Transit Van is on a lot, in the amount of $50,667.00, from Ron Tirapelli Ford, Inc. One Ford F550 and KUB body will be ordered. Purchase a Replacement Engine for the Roadways Division ID-1706-20 from Rush Truck Centers in the amount of $27,680.58 Greg Ruddy discussed the purchase of a refurbished engine, in the amount of $27,680.58, from Rush Truck Center. Award of Contract for Bluff Street Interceptor Rehabilitation ID-1707-20 Project to Insituform Technologies USA LLC in the amount of $1,262,641.00 and Amendment No. 1 for the Bluff Street Interceptor Design Professional Services Agreement to RJN Group in the amount of $104,620.00 A motion was made by Councilman Pat Mudron, seconded by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to recommend for approval ID-1701-20, 1703-20, 1704-20, 1705-20, 1706-20, and 1707-20 for approval by full Council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Councilman Hug, Councilman Mudron and Councilwoman Reardon CHANGE ORDERS/PAY ESTIMATES/FINAL PAYMENTS Payment of the 2024 Membership Dues for the Lower ID-1708-20 DesPlaines Watershed Group in the amount of $99,128.35 Allison Swisher discussed the 2024 Membership Dues, in the amount of $99,128.35, for the Lower DesPlaines Watershed Group. Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $112,184.07 and ID-1709-20 Change Order No. 5 in the amount of ($143,268.90) for the Caton Farm Road Water Main Improvements Project on behalf of PT Ferro Construction Co. reducing the contract Page 2 of 5 Public Service Committee Meeting Minutes - Final June 3, 2024 amount by ($31,084.83) Anthony Anczer discussed Change Order No. 4, in the amount of $112,184.07 and Chance Order No. 5, in the amount of ($143,268.90), for the Caton Farm Road Water Main Improvements Project. A motion was made by Councilman Pat Mudron, seconded by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to recommend ID-1708-20, and 1709-20 for approval by full Council.
