Desiderio Special City Council Meeting Meeting Minutes - Final December 8, 2021 Page 1 of 1 Special City Council Meeting Meeting Minutes - Final December 8, 2021 As of August 30, 2021, Governor Pritzker announced a statewide indoor mask mandate for all Illinois residents, regardless of vaccination status. In compliance with Governor Pritzker’s mandate, any individual appearing in person must wear a face-covering to cover their nose and mouth. Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments in advance of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov. ROLL CALL: Councilman Hug entered the meeting at 5:45 p.m. Present: Mayor Robert O'Dekirk, Councilman Joe Clement, Councilman Cesar Guerrero, Councilman Terry Morris, Councilman Pat Mudron, Councilwoman Jan Quillman and Councilwoman Sherri Reardon Absent: Councilwoman Bettye Gavin and Councilman Larry E. Hug ALSO PRESENT: City Manager James V. Capparelli and Corporation Counsel Sabrina Spano CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS: None. AGENDA ITEM: Councilman Hug entered the meeting at 5:45 p.m. Discussion - City Manager’s Recommended 2022 Annual Budget Attachments: City of Joliet 2022 Proposed Budget.pdf A lengthy discussion was held concerning the 2022 Annual Budget reviewing proposed positions, sidewalk repair or replacement, capital improvements, city hall building expenses and need for a long-term plan, gas tax and vehicle replacement, city parking, and the city's comprehensive plan. PUBLIC COMMENTS: None. ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman, seconded by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to adjourn.
