A motion was made by Jim Riggs to approve the July 20, 2023 Zoning Board of
Appeals Meeting Minutes. The motion carried by the following vote:

yard setback on a through lot from 30 ft. to 25 ft. for a
property, located at 4 S. Cagwin Avenue.

allowable size for an on-premise wall sign from 200 sq. ft. to
300 sq. ft. for a building, located at 1529 N. Broadway Street.

on-premise wall sign from 200 sq. ft. to 300 sq. ft. for a building, located at 1529
N. Broadway Street. The motion carried by the following vote:

PETITION 2023-48: An amendment to a Special Use Permit TMP-6244
(Ordinance #11978) to allow enrollment of up to 160 students
in preschool through eighth grade for an existing public day
school, located at 1205 N. Larkin Avenue.

IL. Ms. Frey appeared in support of this petition. Ms. Frey provided some
information regarding the updates and changes to the SOWIC facility.

A motion was made by Brigette Roehr, seconded by Bob Nachtrieb, to approve
PETITION 2023-48: An amendment to a Special Use Permit (Ordinance
#11978) to allow enrollment of up to 160 students in preschool through eighth
grade for an existing public day school, located at 1205 N. Larkin Avenue. The
motion carried by the following vote:

Chairman Hennessy swore in Mr.Nick Policandriotes, 500 Douglas Street, Joliet,
IL. Mr. Jose Rizo, 217 E. Clinton Street, Joliet, IL. and Mr. ___, 709 N. Center
Street, Joliet, IL. Mr. Policandriotes is the owner of the building and appeared in
support of this petition. Mr. Nachtrieb asked if the Mr. Policandriotes knew the
residential property owners nearby the shop, Mr. Policandriotes does know the
owners but not the current tenants. Mr. Riggs asked if the repair shop will be
closed on Sundays, Mr. Policandriotes said yes they will be closed.

negotiations with the petitioner and the FAA.
