Fowler and Shields 210714 Authorizing the Manager of Procurement Services to execute a $1,175,000.00 Art Purchase Contract with Superblue Miami LLC for the acquisition of the sculptural work “Fountain of Resonance” through the One Percent for Art Program at the KCI New Single Terminal project. Fowler and Shields 210715 Authorizing the Manager of Procurement Services to execute a $192,000.00 Art Purchase Contract with George Rodriguez LLC for the acquisition of the sculptural work “Let the Music Take You” through the One Percent for Art Program at the KCI New Single Terminal and Parking project. Page 1 of 4 Finance, Governance and Agenda - Final August 25, 2021 Public Safety Committee 210704 Authorizing the Director of General Services to execute a three-year lease agreement with one (1) two-year option to renew with Batliner Paper Stock Company, for the purpose of the use of a paved parking area, generally located on the south side of the Missouri River Levee and east of Olive Street, identified as Jackson County Parcel ID No. 12-640-03-02-00-0-00-000, Kansas City, Missouri 64108. 210707 Authorizing a $2,906,897.00 construction contract with Infinity Group, LLC, for the Waste Water Treatment Building - Blue River Annex - Bid #2 project; and authorizing a maximum expenditure of $3,198,000.00. 210718 Authorizing the Director of General Services to execute a three-year lease agreement with one (1) two-year option to renew with A K Lee Construction, LLC, for the use of an office space at Robert J. Mohart Center, located at 3200 Wayne Room 123, Kansas City, Missouri 64108; and estimating revenue in the amount of $1,577.70 to the General Fund. 210709 Authorizing a $2,051,598.85 contract with Ideker, Inc. for the Rehabilitate Taxiway A at CBW Downtown Airport project; and authorizing a maximum expenditure of $2,256,758.85. 210719 Authorizing a $129,000.00 Amendment No. 3 with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly for the Design Airport Development at CBW Downtown Airport; and authorizing a maximum expenditure of $141,900.00 to a total contract amount of $479,000.00. 210729 Providing certain City employees up to 80 hours paid leave for Coronavirus Disease 2019 quarantine due to a positive test, offset by the number of Emergency Paid Sick Leave hours utilized under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and Ordinance No. 210029. HELD IN COMMITTEE Robinson and Parks-Shaw 210502 Amending Chapter 2, Code of Ordinances, by amending Sections 2-367, 2-1111, 2-1112, 2-1113, and 2-1114 to authorize the director of human resources to take disciplinary action when the city’s equal employment opportunity policy is violated, to change the members of the EEO review committee, and to provide regular employees subject to various discipline and suspension pending completion of an investigation a predetermination hearing. Page 2 of 4 Finance, Governance and Agenda - Final August 25, 2021 Public Safety Committee 210685 Amending Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the Kansas City, Missouri, Classification and Compensation Plan, by repealing Sections 2-1075, 2-1076, 2-1077, 2-1078, 2-1079 and 2-1080 to increase the starting minimum pay by $1.25 per hour from $13.75 to $15.00 per hour in accordance with Resolution No. 170628 and Ordinance No. 210625, by adjusting the starting pay for fifty-one entry level job classifications to be no less than the new starting minimum pay; establishing an effective date; appropriating the sum of $1,289,408.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of various City Funds; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.
