Fund Balance, and designates requisitioning authority. Additionally, it authorizes
the Director of Finance to close project accounts upon completion and establishes
effective dates to ensure timely execution of the project.

Report and the FY 2023-24 Third Quarter Budget Analysis
Tammy Queen, Director of Finance, presented the January 31, 2024 Monthly Financial Report
along with the FY 2023-24 Third Quarter Budget Analysis. The presentation provided an
overview of the City's financial performance, highlighting revenue trends, expenditures, and
budget adjustments for the third quarter. This analysis aimed to ensure transparency and
informed decision-making regarding the City's fiscal management.
2. Staff from the City Auditor’s Office will present an audit, Establish Goals and Develop Better
Data to Improve Hiring Process Timeliness.
Doug Jones, City Auditor, presented the audit titled "Establish Goals and Develop Better Data
to Improve Hiring Process Timeliness." The audit highlighted challenges in the City's hiring
processes, emphasizing the need to set clear goals and improve data collection and analysis
to enhance efficiency. Recommendations were provided to streamline hiring timelines and
improve accountability, supporting more effective workforce management.
