Amending Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the Kansas City, Missouri,
Classification and Compensation Plan, by repealing Sections 2-1076, 2-1077,
2-1078, and 2-1079 and enacting new sections of like numbers and subject
matters to create two new job classifications, retitles five job classifications and
adjusts the pay grades for three job classifications.

annual contract amendment to the Management Agreement and Lease with the
American Jazz Museum, Inc. for management and operations of the 18th and Vine
Project; and authorizing the Manager of Procurement Services to extend and
amend the Management Agreement and Lease.
Mario Vasquez, City Manager’s office presented this ordinance that authorizes the Manager
of Procurement Services to execute a $760,000.00 annual contract amendment to the
Management Agreement and Lease with the American Jazz Museum, Inc. for
management and operations of the 18th and Vine Project. Also authorizes the Manager
of Procurement Services to extend and amend the Management Agreement and Lease.

existing Starlight Theater at Swope Parkway and 63rd Street; appropriating the
sum of $3,500,000.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Parks Sales
Tax Fund; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date .
