RESOLUTION - Directing the City Manager to research how other cities fund and have
developed creative, sustainable programs to fund affordable housing creation; and report
back to Council in 30 days.

Blaine Procter, Housing Dept., presented. This resolution approves directing
the City Manager’s office to explore the City’s practice around developing
affordable housing. The Housing department is currently looking at a number
of cities and how they are effectively addressing this issue. The Housing
department will have a comprehensive report to present within 30 days.

improvement districts in the City; authorizing the City Manager to enter into cooperative

funds committed; and directing the City Manager to identify the criteria for the maximum
use of these funds.

terms.
