Staff has included a condition requiring a cross-access easement to be recorded at the time of the vacation recording to ensure all properties have legal access to a public right of way. Land uses in the area are mostly light industrial. The applicant is only vacating a portion of the existing street; the remaining turnaround on the easternmost side of the street will not be vacated as requested by the Water Department.
