Adopting and authorizing the execution of amendments to the 2021-2024
Collective Bargaining Agreement with Local No. 42, I.A.F.F. and to the 2021-2025
Collective Bargaining Agreement with Local No. 3808, I.A.F.F. and adopting side
letter agreements to make such amendments that will increase retiree health
insurance subsidy contributions by current members of the Firefighters’ Pension
System and by the City; waiving limitations established by the Fund Balance and
Reserve Policy in section 2-1954 of the Code of Ordinances; appropriating
$1,602,000.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to
increase the retiree health insurance subsidy contribution from the City to four
percent from two percent; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated
effective date.

and subject matters to create four new job classifications retitle two job
classifications and adjust the pay grades for four job classifications; amending
Chapter 2, Code of Ordinances of the Kansas City, Missouri, Classification and
Compensation Plan, by repealing Sections 2-1081, 2-1082, and 2-1083 to
authorize new salaries for the Elective Judges of Municipal Court, Council
members, and the Mayor; and establishing an effective date for certain sections.

Trafficway to the west, N. Holmes to the east and north of N.E. 32nd Terrace;
directing the City Clerk to notify the responsible election authorities of the election
on or before May 30, 2023, for the August election or on or before August 29,
2023 for the November election; and recognizing this ordinance with an
accelerated effective date.
