Excavation & Construction, Inc., for the replacement of water mains in the
area of Summit Street to Citadel Drive, Nichols Drive to East 63rd Street;
and authorizing a maximum expenditure of $1,153,801.00.

210954 Declaring it necessary to dedicate City property as street right of way for
N.W. Prairie View Road, as part of KCMO Project Number 89008174 -
“N.W. Prairie View Road and north of 64th Street - Improvements”, the
same being on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works and being
incorporated herein by reference, all in Kansas City, Platte County,
Missouri; and upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is
hereby directed to record this ordinance in the Office of the Recorder of
Deeds for Platte County, Missouri.

210967 RESOLUTION - Declaring a climate and ecological emergency
threatening Kansas City and surrounding communities; encouraging
participation in the development and implementation of the City’s Climate
Protection and Resiliency Plan; directing the City Manager to review
subsidy programs and include such programming in FY22-23; requiring
future relevant plans and policies address ways to lessen the climate
emergency; prioritizing solutions that limit greenhouse gas emissions; and
including climate protection and resiliency goals in the City’s 2022 state
legislative priorities.

The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with every
meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each committee. Be
prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification Card with the secretary
and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be
returned.
