Hold on Agenda HELD IN COMMITTEE 230038 Sponsor: Director of the Water Services Department Authorizing a $4,583,900.00 design-build contract with Radmacher Brothers Excavating Co., Inc., for the Blue River Screen House Improvements project; and authorizing a maximum expenditure of $5,000,000.00. Sponsors: Director of Water Services Jeff Martin, Water Services, testified that this ordinance will authorize the Director of Water Services to execute a design build contract with Radmacher Brothers Excavating Co, Inc for the Blue River Screen House Improvements project. The waste water arriving at the treatment plant contains trash and debris and must be removed to prevent reaching local rivers and/or land applied biosolids. This project includes the design, construction, and modification of the existing Blue River Screen House at 7300 Hawthorne Road. The modifications are for replacement of existing screening, channel flow seperation, grit equalization, replacement of slide gates, HVAC and electrical improvements.
