On April 12, 2007 the City Council approved an ordinance to execute a master reimbursable utility agreement with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MO DOT see Ordinance 070424). This ordinance approves a $6,700,000 for payment for the project for the I-70 Design Build relocation project which is one of the projects under this agreement. Sponsors: Director of Water Services Andy Shively, Water Department, presented. This project is with D3 Water, LLC, in the amount of $2,561,500.00 for a project term of one year. The project will continue the operating, maintaining and expanding the City’s water existing sewer system sensor network data collection. Sponsors: Director of Public Works Nicholas Bosonetto and Amy Bunnell, Public Works Department, presented on this ordinance. This ordinance transfers 89% of the development fees collected by the City Planning Department from the developer(s) to the Public Works Department, to pay for administrative costs of project management, project plan review, and construction inspection of the projects. The current projects are: New Mexico Avenue project in the amount of $628,151.32 and the NW Old Stagecoach Road project in the amount of $99,093.49, which are both currently under construction. Adv and Do Pass GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT 240071 Sponsor: Director of the General Services Department Declaring certain real property generally located in the northeast corner of Hodge Park off Northeast Shoal Creek Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri surplus to the City's needs; authorizing the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department to offer the sale of the City’s interest in this real property in accordance with City regulations, and execute related documents to complete the transfer of the real property while reserving easements, as necessary, for any existing City owned sewer, storm water, and water line infrastructure on the said property. Approval of the ordinance declares certain real property to be transferred, located in the northeast corner of Hodge park right off NE Shoal Creek Parkway. Ordinance 190376 called for a special election on November 5, 2019 to remove 36 acres of property from the Park system. The property was transferred to the North Kansas City School District for building of a new school. Ace Pipe Cleaning was the lowest bidder for the contract and all MBE/WBE requirements are met.
