This amendment will modify the operator agreement by removing approximately 60,000 square feet from Signature Flight Support's leasehold to accommodate a new access road for a development area at the Charles B. This change supports the Aviation Department's objective to optimize asset utilization and provide efficient and satisfactory services and facilities for passengers and visitors. This ordinance authorizes the City Manager to enter into a one-year contract with Metropolitan Energy Center from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025. The purpose of this grant is to continue the implementation of the Benchmarking help desk element of MEC’s Energy Works KC program. The Department of Energy has agreed to repurpose previously granted funds for this project. The objective of this initiative is to promote sustainable housing, enhance resident well-being, and foster cultural diversity.
