CITY OF LA MARQUE CITY COUNCIL REGULAR AGENDA of July 13, 2026 Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of La Marque, Texas will conduct a Regular Meeting on July 13, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at 1109- B Bayou Road La Marque, Texas as well as via video-conference hosted through Zoom (councilzoom.cityoflamarque.org). The Zoom Passcode: 163641 and Meeting ID: 161 728 0595. In accordance with Section 551.127(b) of the Texas Government Code the presiding officer and a quorum of the La Marque City Council intend to be and will be physically present at 1109-B Bayou Road, La Marque, Texas. This location will be open to the public and the meeting will be broadcast at this location, on Channel 16, and via YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6G8ypjyEDo). Ordinance No. O-2026-0012 Amending Chapter 17, Article III of the Code of Ordinances, entitled "Coin- Operated Amusement Machines," by amending Section 17-54 to add a definition of eight-liner and by adding a new Section 17-61 to prohibit the operation of eight-liners and to declare eight-liners a public nuisance; amending Section 17-60 to reduce the license fee for amusement redemption machine game rooms; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000.00 for each offense; providing a repeater clause; providing a savings clause; providing a severability clause; providing for codification; and providing for publication and an effective date - Fire THIS IS THE FIRST READING 8.III. EXECUTIVE SESSION The City Council for the City of La Marque, Texas reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by the Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072(Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), and 551.087 (Economic Development) 11. ACTIONS TAKEN FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION 12.
