Roll Call Present: Etten, Rayppy, Halverson, Brookes, Powers. Also present B&Z Director Renee Hanlon Absent: Akright, Hummel Comments from the public limited to 5 minutes, limited to items on this agenda A question regarding the process required to demolish a house in the Maple Park Historic District was brought by Commissioner Powers on behalf of one of her constituents. Neither the house nor the District are designated as a local historic landmark so there is nothing the HPC can do to prevent it. A demolition permit from the Building & Zoning Department is required. Approval of the minutes from May 12, 2026 Powers/Halverson motion to approve previous meeting minutes passed unanimously. Review Financial Reports Current balance of $18, 209.77 includes the $9,000 roll over from previous year. Discussion/Update regarding the dedication of the Lake Geneva Public Library as a Local Historic Landmark and the historic plaque. A date for the dedication and plaque installation will be set by the Library Board of Trustees in the near future. Discussion regarding potential proposed new National, State and Local Historic Landmarks The Local Historic Landmark nomination form in fillable form is in progress. Previously discussed nominations are the Riviera, Geneva Lake Museum, and 1003 W Main Street. Discussion/Update regarding status of the LGHPC Website and Historic Walking Tour phone apps No new information. Update regarding status of Historic Signs a.
