Announcement Regarding: Compliance with Open Meeting Law 3. Public Comment: Comment during this portion of the agenda must be limited to matters on the agenda for action. Report by Sapira Cheuk, Arts Commission Chair, regarding monthly summary of current initiatives, cultural events and opportunities - All Wards 6. Report by Cultural Affairs staff regarding a monthly summary of current initiatives - All Wards 7. Report by Cultural Affairs staff regarding public art within the Summerlin community - Ward 2 (Seaman) 8. Report by Cultural Affairs staff regarding the roles and responsibilities of Arts Commissioners - All Wards 9. Discussion for possible action regarding a public art project that incorporates mediums other than painted murals and sculptures within the city of Las Vegas (No Fiscal Impact) - All Wards 10. Discussion for possible action regarding a public art project related to sports and athletic champions within the city of Las Vegas (No Fiscal Impact) - All Wards 11. Discussion for possible action regarding abolishment of the following subcommittees: Education Subcommittee, Project Development Subcommittee, Public Art Advisory Commission, and Fast Track Subcommittee - All Wards 12. Report by Cultural Affairs staff regarding the Governor’s Arts Award program that ended in 2012 (No Fiscal Impact) - All Wards 13. Discussion regarding topics for future agenda items. Comments made during this portion of the agenda by individual members shall refer solely to proposals for future agenda items and any discussion shall be limited to whether or not such proposed items are within the purview of the Commission and/or whether such proposed items shall be placed on a future agenda. No discussion regarding the substance of any such proposed topic shall occur and no action shall be taken. 14. Citizens Participation: Public comment during this portion of the agenda must be limited to matters within the jurisdiction of the Commission.
