5. 22-0495-CLC1 - Report by Kathy Nghe, Financial Analyst, City of Las Vegas Finance Department, regarding
the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial budget for Fiscal Year 2023
6. 22-0501-CLC1 - Final report by staff from the National Atomic Testing Museum regarding the completion of
Grant Number CLC-78741, funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial
7. 22-0506-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $17,641 by As We
Knew It, LLC, for the costs associated with transferring and digitizing 324 videos containing recorded oral
histories from their original Betacam SP tapes to a digital medium, and authorizing the President to execute the
Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney
8. 22-0500-CLC1 - Final report by City of Las Vegas Department of Public Works regarding the completion of the
restoration of the hay barn located at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs, 9200 Tule Springs Road - Ward 6
(Fiore)
9. 22-0503-CLC1 - Final report by Nevada Preservation Foundation regarding the completion of the Revolving
Fund Historic Neighborhood Revitalization Program, funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial
10. 22-0505-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of Grant Modification Number 3 concerning
Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial Grant Number 20-0058-CLC1, to the Nevada Preservation
Foundation for the costs associated with conducting an in-depth survey of the Biltmore Bungalows, roughly
bounded by Washington Avenue and Bonanza Road on the north and south and North Main Street and North
9th Street on the west and east, and the research necessary to establish the neighborhood’s significance for
local, state and national historic register nominations, to extend the grant deadline from “August 18, 2022” to
“January 30, 2023,” and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City
Attorney - Ward 5 (Crear)

11. 22-0498-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $5,000 by Old Time
Reunion for the costs associated with promoting the 2022 Old Time Reunion event that documents the cultural
and historical heritage of the city of Las Vegas, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement
as approved by the City Attorney
12. 22-0507-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of Grant Modification Number 1 concerning
Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial Grant Number 21-0284-CLC1 awarded to the City of Las Vegas,
acting by and through its Office of the City Clerk, for the City of Las Vegas’ Archives and Records Center, to
extend the deadline from “July 31, 2022” to “September 30, 2022,” and authorizing the President to execute the
Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney
13. 22-0508-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of Grant Modification Number 2 concerning
Las Vegas Centennial Grant Number CLC-78732, a grant to the UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) Oral
History Research Center for the staffing and materials necessary to collect, document and preserve interviews
with the Asian American and Pacific Islander community in Las Vegas, to extend the grant deadline from
“August 31, 2022” to “May 31, 2023,” and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as
approved by the City Attorney
14. 22-0499-CLC1 - Discussion regarding approval of a grant request for $291,850 by 300 Stewart Avenue
Corporation, dba The Mob Museum, for the costs associated with the production of a documentary film
highlighting the history of the building as a U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, and museum, located at 300
Stewart Avenue, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City
Attorney - Ward 5 (Crear)
15. 22-0377-CLC1 - ABEYANCE ITEM - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for
$99,000 by Las Vegas Apartments, LLC, for the costs associated with restoring the Safari Motel sign, located at
2001 Fremont Street - Ward 3 (Diaz), and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as
approved by the City Attorney
16. 22-0509-CLC1 - Discussion regarding the continuation and content for the documentary film series, “The City of
Las Vegas,” funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial
17. 22-0510-CLC1 - Report by Diane Siebrandt, Executive Director of the Commission for the Las Vegas
Centennial, regarding completed and current projects and announcements relative to the Commission for the
Las Vegas Centennial
18. 22-0511-CLC1 - Discussion regarding topics for future agenda items. Comments made during this portion
of the agenda by individual members shall refer solely to proposals for future agenda items and any discussion
shall be limited to whether or not such proposed items are within the purview of the Commission and/or whether
such proposed items shall be placed on a future agenda. No discussion regarding the substance of any such
proposed topic shall occur and no action shall be taken.
19. Citizens Participation: Public comment during this portion of the agenda must be limited to matters within the
jurisdiction of the Commission. No subject may be acted upon by the Commission unless that subject is on the
agenda and is scheduled for action. If you wish to be heard, come forward and give your name for the record.
