For possible action to approve the Final Minutes by reference of the Special Meeting of September 29, 2022 5. 22-0639-CLC1 - Report by Kathy Nghe, Financial Analyst, City of Las Vegas Finance Department, regarding the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial budget for Fiscal Year 2023 6. 22-0377-CLC1 - ABEYANCE ITEM - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $99,000 by Las Vegas Apartments, LLC, for the costs associated with restoring the Safari Motel sign, located at 2001 Fremont Street - Ward 3 (Diaz), and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney 7. 22-0628-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of Grant Modification Number 1, concerning Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial Grant Number 22-0150-CLC1 to the Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County for the costs associated with the production of a documentary film about the 50-year history of KCEP Radio Station, located at 330 West Washington Avenue, Suite 101, to extend the grant deadline from September 30, 2022 to March 31, 2023, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - Ward 5 (Crear) 8. 22-0629-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $50,000 by Quiet Film for the costs associated with the production of a film highlighting the history of the downtown comedy club entertainment experience in Las Vegas, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - All Wards 9. 22-0506-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of Grant Modification Number 1, concerning a Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial Grant to the Junior League of Las Vegas (CLC-77390) for the costs associated with the Las Vegas History Education Mini-Grants Project, to extend the grant deadline from August 31, 2020 to May 31, 2023, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - All Wards Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial November 28, 2022 - Page 1 10. 22-0630-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $185,000 by the Nevada Preservation Foundation for the costs associated with the planning and running of the Home + History 2023 Event, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - All Wards 11. 22-0631-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $259,005 by Heather Caputo Productions for the costs associated with the production of a film highlighting the history of Helldorado Days in Las Vegas, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - All Wards 12. 22-0637-CLC1 - Final report by Jennifer Kleven, Senior Development Officer, and Stephen Siwinski, Curator and Exhibitions Designer, from The Neon Museum, located at 770 Las Vegas Boulevard North, regarding the completion of the “Duck Duck Shed” event, funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial - Ward 5 (Crear) 13. 22-0640-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of funding in the amount of $290,598 to Boyd Productions to produce the next installment of the documentary film series, “The City of Las Vegas: The Sixties,” covering the years 1960-1969 - All Wards 14. 22-0641-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of the 2023 Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial Meeting Schedule 15. 22-0642-CLC1 - Report by the Community Development Department regarding the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial grant guidelines 16. 22-0643-CLC1 - Report by Diane Siebrandt, Executive Director of the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial, regarding completed and current projects and announcements relative to the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial 17. 22-0644-CLC1 - Discussion regarding topics for future agenda items. Comments made during this portion of the agenda by individual members shall refer solely to proposals for future agenda items and any discussion shall be limited to whether or not such proposed items are within the purview of the Commission and/or whether such proposed items shall be placed on a future agenda. No discussion regarding the substance of any such proposed topic shall occur and no action shall be taken. 18.
