Report by City of Las Vegas Finance Department staff regarding the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial budget for Fiscal Year 2023 6. 23-0353-CLC1 - Final report by staff from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Oral History Research Center regarding the completion of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Oral History Project, funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial 7. 23-0354-CLC1 - Final report by staff from the City of Las Vegas Public Works Department regarding the completion of the refurbishments and installation of the Rummel, Par-A-Dice and Fun City motel signs, funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial - Ward 3 (Diaz) 8. 23-0324-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $79,732 by The Neon Museum for the costs associated with interior repairs and upgrades of the La Concha Motel Lobby, located at 770 Las Vegas Boulevard North, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - Ward 5 (Crear) 9. 23-0325-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $22,831.34 by Old Time Reunion for the costs associated with the 2023 Old Time Reunion event that documents the cultural and historical heritage of the city of Las Vegas, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney 10. 23-0355-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of funding in the amount of $100,000 to KME Architects to create the Historic Westside Design Guidelines for commercial and residential properties located in the Historic Westside, an area roughly bounded by Owens Avenue, Interstate 15 and Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard - Ward 5 (Crear) Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial July 24, 2023 - Page 1 11. 23-0357-CLC1 - Final report by the Executive Director of the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial regarding the completion of the documentary film, The City of Las Vegas: The 1950s, funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial 12. 23-0205-CLC1 - ABEYANCE ITEM - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $135,000 by the Board of Regents, Nevada System of Higher Education, on behalf of UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) Public History, for the costs associated with the creation of an app-based walking tour of historic sites in Downtown Las Vegas, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - All Wards 13.
