5. Report by City of Las Vegas Finance Department staff regarding the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial
budget for Fiscal Year 2024
6. 23-0605-CLC1 - ABEYANCE ITEM - Discussion for possible action regarding funding in the amount of
$1,450,760.68 to Boyd Productions to produce Part VII through Part X of the documentary film series, The City
of Las Vegas, covering the years 1970-2005
7. 24-0008-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding funding in the amount of $351,989 to Boyd
Productions to produce Part VII of the documentary film series, The City of Las Vegas, covering the years 1970-
1979
8. 24-0010-CLC1 - Final report by staff from the City of Las Vegas Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs
Department, regarding the completion of the 100-year Anniversary event for the Historic Westside School,
located at 330 West Washington Avenue, funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial - Ward 5
(Crear)
9. 24-0011-CLC1 - Final report by staff from The Neon Museum regarding the completion of the Duck Duck Shed:
Celebrating Las Vegas Architecture, Design and Culture 2023 four-day event, funded by the Commission for
the Las Vegas Centennial - All Wards
10. 23-0668-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $200,000 by The Neon
Museum for the costs associated with the planning and running of the Duck Duck Shed: Celebrating Las Vegas
Architecture, Design and Culture 2024 four-day event to be held in the fall of 2024, and authorizing the
President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - All Wards

11. 23-0669-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $1,500,000 by Dapper
Companies for the costs associated with creating planning and design documents for the restoration and
rehabilitation of the Huntridge Theatre and restoration work on historic elements of the theater, located at 1208
East Charleston Boulevard, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the
City Attorney - Ward 3 (Diaz)
12. 23-0670-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $388,120 by Nevada
Preservation Foundation for the costs associated with planning and running the 2025, 2026 and 2027 Home +
History Events, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney
- All Wards
13. 24-0012-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of Grant Modification Number 1, concerning
Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial Grant Number 22-0499-CLC1 to 300 Stewart Avenue Corporation,
dba The Mob Museum, for the costs associated with the production of a documentary film highlighting the
history of the building as a U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, and museum, located at 300 Stewart Avenue, to
extend the grant deadline from November 30, 2023 to June 30, 2024, and authorizing the President to execute
the Grant Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - Ward 5 (Crear)
14. 24-0013-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of Grant Modification Number 3, concerning
Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial Grant Number 22-0150-CLC1 to the Economic Opportunity Board of
Clark County for the costs associated with the production of a documentary film about the 50-year history of
KCEP Radio Station, located at 330 West Washington Avenue, Suite 101, to extend the grant deadline from
November 30, 2023 to February 28, 2024, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as
approved by the City Attorney - Ward 5 (Crear)
15. Report by the Executive Director of the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial regarding completed projects
and announcements relative to the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial
16. Discussion regarding topics for future agenda items. Comments made during this portion of the agenda by
individual members shall refer solely to proposals for future agenda items and any discussion shall be limited to
whether or not such proposed items are within the purview of the Commission and/or whether such proposed
items shall be placed on a future agenda. No discussion regarding the substance of any such proposed topic
shall occur and no action shall be taken.
17. Citizens Participation: Public comment during this portion of the agenda must be limited to matters within the
jurisdiction of the Commission. No subject may be acted upon by the Commission unless that subject is on the
agenda and is scheduled for action. If you wish to be heard, come forward and give your name for the record.
The amount of discussion on any single subject, as well as the amount of time any single speaker is allowed,
may be limited.
