5. Report by City of Las Vegas Finance Department staff regarding the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial
budget for Fiscal Year 2024
6. 23-0669-CLC1 - ABEYANCE ITEM - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for
$1,500,000 by Dapper Companies for the costs associated with creating planning and design documents for the
restoration and rehabilitation of the Huntridge Theatre and restoration work on historic elements of the theater,
located at 1208 East Charleston Boulevard, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as
approved by the City Attorney - Ward 3 (Diaz)
7. 24-0141-CLC1 - Report by staff from the City of Las Vegas Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department
regarding an update on the Charleston Boulevard Underpass Mural Project located on West Charleston
Boulevard between South Commerce Street and South Industrial Road - Ward 3 (Diaz)
8. 24-0142-CLC1 - Final report by Lynn Zook, As We Knew It, LLC owner, regarding the completion of the Classic
Las Vegas digitization project, funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial - All Wards
9. 24-0143-CLC1 - Final report by Heather Caputo, Heather Caputo Productions Director, regarding the
completion of the Road to Helldorado Days documentary, funded by the Commission for the Las Vegas
Centennial - All Wards
10. 24-0144-CLC1 - Final report by Emmett Gates, Slicktion Culture Productions Director, regarding the completion
of the Across the Tracks: A Las Vegas Westside Story documentary, funded by the Commission for the Las
Vegas Centennial - Ward 5 (Crear)
11. 24-0146-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding amending the Memorandum of Understanding
between the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial and the Historic Preservation Commission to increase
the funding request to $150,000, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant Agreement as approved by
the City Attorney - All Wards

12. 24-0071-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a grant request for $150,000 by the City of
Las Vegas, acting by and through its Historic Preservation Commission, for the costs associated with
supporting a variety of historic preservation initiatives, and authorizing the President to execute the Grant
Agreement as approved by the City Attorney - All Wards
13. 24-0147-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of a request from staff for funding up to
$12,000 to host the premiere of the documentary film, The City of Las Vegas: The 1960s, at the Historic Fifth
Street School, located at 401 South 4th Street - Ward 3 (Diaz)
14. 24-0148-CLC1 - Discussion for possible action regarding approval of Contract Number 240197-DG in the
amount of $1,450,760.68 to Boyd Productions to produce Part VII through Part X of the documentary film
series, The City of Las Vegas, covering the years 1970-2005, and authorizing the President to execute the
Contract as approved by the City Attorney - All Wards
15. Report by the Executive Director of the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial regarding completed projects
and announcements relative to the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial
16. Discussion regarding topics for future agenda items. Comments made during this portion of the agenda by
individual members shall refer solely to proposals for future agenda items and any discussion shall be limited to
whether or not such proposed items are within the purview of the Commission and/or whether such proposed
items shall be placed on a future agenda. No discussion regarding the substance of any such proposed topic
shall occur and no action shall be taken.
17. Citizens Participation: Public comment during this portion of the agenda must be limited to matters within the
jurisdiction of the Commission. No subject may be acted upon by the Commission unless that subject is on the
agenda and is scheduled for action. If you wish to be heard, come forward and give your name for the record.
The amount of discussion on any single subject, as well as the amount of time any single speaker is allowed,
may be limited.
