Should discussion be desired on an item, that item will be Community Events & removed from the Consent Agenda prior to action and considered separately. Outreach Coordinator 1. Consider approving minutes from March 5, 2025. Haley Moore Arts & Humanities 2. Consider approving financial report for March 2025. Digital Media & Records Specialist Motion by Ramey to accept the minutes from March 5, 2025. Second by Offield. Reagan Phillips Offield, Beck, Monroe, and Ramey voted yes. Motion carried. Arts & Humanities Administrative Motion by Offield to accept the minutes from March 2025. Second by Beck. Assistant Offield, Beck, Monroe, and Ramey voted yes. Motion carried. Nicholas Sasseen Arts & Humanities CHAIR’S REPORT Technical Coordinator 3. General announcements and updates - none COMMITTEE REPORTS: Receive reports and take action as necessary. 4. Sub Committees Poudrier reminded the committee that in previous meetings, the committee decided to start looking for Awards nominations in May. He asked that the committee start looking about at local artists and people in the community. Beck asked if there was a flyer that they could distribute, and Poudrier confirmed that there will be. Abram confirmed that they want to start looking the same weekend as the Arts for All Festival. Abram confirmed that the Naturalization ceremony is still happening as planned so there will still be a reception for the newly naturalized citizens and their families. Poudrier reported that he is currently talking to a performer for the upcoming Food Truck Tuesday at the Lawton Farmers Market. Discussion ensued. Poudrier reported on the McMahon Auditorium Authority subgranting policies, application, and budget template that he and his staff have updated to streamline the process. Discussion ensued. BUSINESS ITEMS 5. Consider recommending approval of updated MAA sub-granting policies, application, and budget template and take action as necessary. Motion by Monroe to recommend the McMahon Auditorium Authority approve the updated subgranting policies, application, and budget template. Second by Offield. Offield, Beck, Monroe, and Ramey voted yes. Motion carried. 6. Consider recommending purchase of Jackrabbit application and software for support of arts classes at Carnegie Library Town Hall. Poudrier and Phillips introduced item. Discussion ensued about the different amenities they offer and how the software works. Motion by Beck to recommend the McMahon Auditorium Authority to purchase the Jackrabbit application and software for support of art classes at Carnegie Library Town Hall. Second by Monroe. Offield, Beck, Monroe, and Ramey voted yes. Motion carried. 7. Consider approval of performer selection for April 8th, First Tuesday evening at the Lawton Farmer’s Market. Poudrier introduced this item, discussion ensued about the payment rates and which artist will be invited to perform. Motion by Ramey to accept Cody Newby at a fee not to exceed $200. Second by Monroe. Offield, Beck, Monroe, and Ramey voted yes. Motion carried. OLD BUSINESS – none NEW BUSINESS - none ANNOUNCEMENTS - none Beck announced that Batboy the Musical will take place at Lawton Community Theatre April 4-6 and April 11-13. Offield announced that the district wide Lawton Public Schools production of Grease will take place April 4-6. Poudrier announced that the Trash Off event will take place on Saturday April 5, in the McMahon Memorial Auditorium parking lot. ADJOURNMENT – 4:40
