Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Wednesday, June 24, 2015 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 6:59 a.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, William Dunne Vice Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Secretary, Kenneth Florey Guests: Police Chief, Raymond Byrne Deputy Chief of Police, Thomas Wirsing Assistant Fire Chief, Jerry Howell Human Resources Administrator, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to approve the minutes from the special meeting on April 3, 2015 and the regular meeting on May 8, 2015. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received invoice 176011 in the amount of $1600.50 and 176204 in the amount of $1,191.50 from Klein Thorpe and Jenkins for legal services; invoice 85726 in the amount of $45.00 from Elmhurst Memorial Occupational Heath for lift test for firefighter candidate; and invoice 1667 in the amount of $640.00 and invoice 1689 in the amount of $160.00 from Conrad Polygraph for polygraphs for 5 police candidates. It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to approve payment of the bills. Motion carried. F. Chairperson's Report Nothing to report. Correspondence The Board received a memorandum from Battalion Chief Greene and Fire Lt. Ringa to a firefighter/paramedic notifying him that he will be suspended; a memorandum from firefighter/paramedic Eric Ramseth resigning from the department; a memorandum from Chief Ray Byrne to Village Manager Scott Niehaus regarding police department staffing; a memorandum from Village Manager Scott Niehaus to Chairman William Dunne regarding authorization to proceed with hiring one police officer; and credentials from Marshon Conrad and Jeanne Broenneke from Conrad Polygraph. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to break to Executive Session at 7:07 a.m. Motion carried. Reconvene The regular meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 7:15 a.m. Present: Chairman, William Dunne Vice Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Secretary, Kenneth Florey Guests: Guests: Police Chief, Raymond Byrne Deputy Chief of Police, Thomas Wirsing Assistant Fire Chief, Jerry Howell Human Resources Administrator, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to extend a conditional offer of employment to police candidate, Evan Boros, extend a conditional offer of employment to firefighter/paramedic Patrick Fogarty and back up offers of employment to Luis Carbajal and Kevin Roe. Motion carried. O.
