Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, July 24, 2015 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 6:30 a.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, William Dunne Vice Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Guests: Police Chief, Raymond Byrne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes Special Meeting - July 10, 2015 D. Public Participation Police applicant Wilfredo Cruz requested from the Board to approve a special oral interview for the police officer eligibility process. Mr. Cruz stated he did not receive his letter regarding his oral interview date in the mail. It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman Thomas Rachubinski, to approve his request. Motion carried. E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Correspondence The Board received correspondence from police applicant Wilfredo Cruz requesting a special oral interview with the assessors because his letter that was mailed to him with the date of his oral interview never made it to him. The Board received a copy of a memo from Police Chief, Raymond Byrne regarding Letter of Appreciations for 5 officers for their response and work with a Burglary to Motor Vehicle and Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding. The Board received a copy of a memo from Police Chief, Raymond Byrne regarding a Letter of Appreciation to 2 officers for their lifesaving efforts for a Narcan save. The Board received a copy of a memo from Fire Chief, Paul DiRienzo to a firefighter/paramedic regarding a discipline inquiry. J. Unfinished Business Police Chief, Raymond Byrne gave the Board an update on the police candidate testing process. The oral interviews are finished and the scores have been submitted to Stanard & Associates. The Chief hopes to have the initial eligibility lists by end of August for the Board to approve. K.
