A. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance
The Tuesday, March 29, 2016 Special Meeting of the Lombard Board
of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 4:11 p.m. in the
Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue,
Lombard, Illinois.
B. Roll Call of Members
Present:
Chairman, William Dunne
Vice Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski

Police Chief, Raymond Byrne

I. Correspondence
The Board received a memorandum from Village Manager, Scott
Niehaus regarding authorization for the hiring of one police officer. It
was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice Chairman
Thomas Rachubinski to approve. Motion carried.

M. Executive Session
It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice
Chairman Thomas Rachubinski, to go to executive session at 4:14
p.m. Meeting was kept open there was no public present.
It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice
Chairman Thomas Rachubinski, to deny background checks for
firefighter candidate, James Fritz and police candidate Eric Servatius.
Motion carried.
It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice
Chairman Thomas Rachubinski, to extend conditional offers of
employment to firefighter candidates Michael Pope, Jason Smolinski
and Michael Loss. Motion carried.
It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice
Chairman Thomas Rachubinski, to extend a final offer of employment
to police candidate, Ryan Postal. Motion carried.

O. Adjournment
It was moved by Chairman William Dunne, seconded by Vice
Chairman Thomas Rachubinski to adjourn the Special Meeting of the
Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners at 4:20 p.m.
Motion carried.
