Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Tuesday, February 13, 2018 special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 7:45 a.m. in the Lombard Police Department Chief's Conference Room, 235 E. Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Police Deputy Chief, Tom Wirsing Fire Chief, Rick Sander Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence The Board received a memorandum from Village Manager, Scott Niehaus authorizing The Board to proceed with the hiring of 3 Police Officers, promoting 1 Police Officer to Police Sergeant, and 1 Police Sergeant to Police Lieutenant. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Kyle Dolan to recess to executive session at 7:50 a.m. Motion carried. N. Reconvene The special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 7:54 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Police Deputy Chief, Tom Wirsing Fire Chief, Rick Sander Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary Kyle Dolan to promote, Police Officer Jason Chudzinski to Police Sergeant and Police Sergeant John Malatia to Police Lieutenant. Motion carried. O.
