Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, September 28, 2018 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 7:46 a.m. in the Lombard Village Hall Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve the minutes from the regular meeting on August 24, 2018. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice #SA000038619 from Stanard & Associates in the amount of $790.00 for 2 personality evaluations for 2 firefighter candidates; Invoice #2950, #3027 and #3071 from Conrad Polygraphs amounts totaling $2240.00 for polygraph examinations for police and fire candidates; Invoice #80816 from Elmhurst Occupational Health in the amount of $1130.00 for medical examinations for 2 firefighter candidates. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve payment of all bills. Motion carried. F. Correspondence The Board received a copy of a memorandum from Fire Lt. Mark Sepe to a firefighter/paramedic regarding an oral reprimand. J. Unfinished Business It was decided by the Board to charge $30.00 per firefighter applicant for the written testing process through IO Solutions. K. New Business L. Other Business M. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to adjourn to executive session at 7:53 a.m. Motion carried. Reconvene The regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 7:59 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Bartolotte It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to extend a conditional offer of employment to police candidates, Kurt Siegmeyer and Cory Cairo and send a denial letter of employment to police candidate, Christopher Conrad. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to extend a conditional offer of employment to firefighter candidate, Joel Montiel. Motion carried. O.
