Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, July 10, 2020 Special Meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:02 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Attorney, Jason Guisinger, Esq. Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. New Business It was moved by Secretary, Kyle Dolan, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to promote Officer Andrew Stern to Police Sergeant and to promote Sergeant Benny Ranallo to Police Lieutenant. Motion carried. L. Other Business M. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to adjourn to executive session at 8:05 a.m. Motion carried. N. Reconvene The special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:20 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Attorney, Jason Guisinger, Esq. Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to extend a conditional offer of employment to police candidate, Esteban Mendez.
