Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Thursday, May 27, 2021 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Police Chief's Conference Room, 235 E. Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Chief of Police, Thomas Wirsing Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to approve the minutes from the regular meeting on April 28, 2021 and the special meeting on May 10, 2021. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#4354 in the amount of $320.00 from Conrad Polygraph for 2 firefighter/paramedics polygraphs; Invoice#SA000046929 in the amount of $395.00 from Stanard & Associates for a personality evaluation for a police candidate; Invoice#00134041 in the amount of $115.00, Invoice#00135311 in the amount of $168.00, Invoice#00135731 in the amount of $115.00 from Elmhurst Occupational Health for pre-employment medical testing. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to approve payment of all bills. Motion carried. F. Correspondence The Board received a copy of a memorandum from Police Lt. Kohl addressed to Police Chief Newton stating that Office Adilene Ruiz successfully completed her 2 year probationary period. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn to executive session at 8:06 a.m. Motion carried. Reconvene The meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:11 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Guests: Fire Chief, Rick Sander Deputy Chief of Police, Thomas Wirsing Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Fire Administrative Coordinator, Sheila York Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend a conditional offer of employment to firefighter/paramedic, Tyler Gunn. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend a final offer of employment to police candidate, Joseph Wuorenma. Motion carried. O.
