Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Wednesday, June 29, 2022 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Attorney, Jason Guisinger, Esq. Attorney, Michael Jurusik, Esq. Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve the minutes from the special meeting on May 12, 2022 and June 1, 2022. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#SA000050655 in the amount of $900.00 from Stanard & Associates for 2 personality evaluations for police candidates; Invoice#00153782 in the amount of $3,452.00 from Elmhurst Occupational Health for pre-employment medical testing for 4 police candidates. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve payment of all bills. Motion carried. F. Correspondence The Board received a copy of a Life Saving Award from Police Chief, Roy Newton to Police Officer, Anthony Markas; and a Certificate of Appointment for Police Sergeant, Tom Balsitis. J. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn to executive session at 8:05 a.m. Motion carried. Reconvene The meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:10 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Roy Newton Deputy Fire Chief, Ray Kickert Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Attorney, Jason Guisinger, Esq. Attorney, Michael Jurusik, Esq. Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend final offers of employment to firefighter/paramedics Dylan McCabee and Scott Thornburg. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to send a letter of rejection of employment to firefighter/paramedic, Craig Kozubowski. Motion carried. It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to extend a final offer of employment to police candidate, Sabrina Hernandez. Motion carried. O.
