Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Monday, May 15, 2023 special meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Police Chief's Conference Room, 235 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Tom Wirsing Deputy Chief, Benny Ranallo Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#233456 in the amount of $713.00 from Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins regarding reviewing the BOFPC Rules and Amendments and making changes to same; Invoice#001166251 from Elmhurst Occupational Health in the amount of $7,039.50 for 7 police officer candidates pre-employment medical testing; Invoice#SA000053974 in the amount of $450.00 from Stanard & Associates for a personality test for a police officer candidate; Invoice#108016 in the amount of $3,350.00 from C.O.P.S. and F.I.R.E. Personnel Testing for personality testing for 7 police officer candidates; Invoice#5517 from Conrad Polygraph in the amount of $2,775.00 for 20 polygraph examinations for police officer candidates; and Invoice#5560 from Conrad Polygraph in the amount of $900.00 for 5 polygraph examinations for firefighter/paramedic candidates. It was moved by Secretary, Kyle Dolan, seconded by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to approve payment of all bills. Motion carried. Correspondence Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski received a copy of a memorandum from Village Manager, Scott Niehaus regarding the authorization to proceed with hiring 1 police officer, and promoting 1 police sergeant and 1 police lieutenant. J. Unfinished Business K. New Business It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to promote Police Officer, Daniel Herrera to Police Sergeant, and to promote Sherie Eakins to Police Lieutenant. Motion carried. L. Other Business M. Executive Session N. Reconvene O.
