Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, September 22, 2023 regular meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Fire Chief, Rick Sander Fire Deputy Chief, George Hyland Police Deputy Chief, Benny Ranallo Human Resources Director, Kathleen Dunne Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve the minutes from the regular meeting on July 20, 2023, special meeting on August 3, 2023 and special meeting on August 14, 2023. Motion carried. D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills The Board received Invoice#00168887 from Elmhurst Occupational Health in the amount of $2,131.00 for 3 firefighter candidate pre-employment medical testing; and Invoice#170462 in the amount of $650.00 for 1 firefighter candidate pre-employment medical testing; Invoice#SA000055211 from Stanard & Associates in the amount of $12,011.18 for 2023 Police Sgt. and Lt. Promotional Process and testing; Invoice#5695 from Conrad Polygraph in the amount of $180.00 for a polygraph for a firefighter candidate. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve payment of all bills. Motion carried. Correspondence The Board received a copy of a memorandum from Police Chief, Tom Wirsing regarding Police Department Merit and Efficiency Rating for Police Sergeant/Lieutenant Promotional Testing. J. Unfinished Business K. New Business Fire Chief Sander discussed that the fire department needs to start the process for another firefighter eligibility list as they have exhausted the current list. Testing will start in December. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve the merit and efficiency rating for Police Sergeant and Police Lieutenant Promotional Testing.
