The Friday, December 6, 2024 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire
and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Lombard Board
Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148.
B. Roll Call of Members

I. Correspondence
The Board received a Memorandum from Village Manager, Scott
Niehaus regarding the authorization to proceed with the promotions of
two Fire Lieutenants and one Battalion Chief.
The Board received a copy of a letter from Battalion Chief, Doug Cail
with his notice of retirement. His retirement date will be January 31,
2025.

J. Unfinished Business
It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary,
Kyle Dolan to extend a final offer of employment to police candidate,
David Vasallo. Motion carried.
K. New Business
It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by Secretary,
Kyle Dolan to promote firefighters Matthew Weibler and Jonathan
Trapani to Fire Lieutenant and Fire Lieutenant Dan Ekhart to Fire
Battalion Chief. Motion carried.

It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice
Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn the meeting of the Lombard Board
of Fire and Police Commissioners at 8:13 a.m. Motion carried.
