Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance The Friday, March 21, 2025 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Village of Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois 60148. B. Roll Call of Members Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Joe Grage Fire Chief, Rick Sander Fire Deputy Chief, Nathan Gac Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship C. Approval of Minutes D. Public Participation E. Payment of Bills F. Chairperson's Report G. Vice Chairperson's Report H. Secretary's Report I. Correspondence Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski received a memorandum from Village Manager, Scott Niehaus regarding authorization to proceed with the promotion of one police sergeant and one police lieutenant. New Business It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to approve the changes to the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners. Motion carried. It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to promote Police Detective Neil Eriksen to Police Sergeant and Police Sergeant Vicente Roman to Police Lieutenant. Motion carried. L. Other Business M. Executive Session It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn to executive session at 8:10 a.m. Motion carried. Reconvene The meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and Police Commissioners reconvened at 8:17 a.m. Present: Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey Secretary, Kyle Dolan Guests: Police Chief, Joe Grage Fire Chief, Rick Sander Fire Deputy Chief, Nathan Gac Police Administrative Coordinator, Barbara Blankenship It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey seconded by Secretary, Kyle Dolan to continue with the background investigation for police candidate, Austin Lantz and send a denial letter of employment to firefighter candidate, Dakota Ibrahim. Motion carried. O.
