A. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance
The Friday, July 18, 2025 meeting of the Lombard Board of Fire and
Police Commissioners convened at 8:00 a.m. in the Village of
Lombard Board Room, 255 East Wilson Avenue, Lombard, Illinois
60148.
B. Roll Call of Members

The Board received Invoice#00204034 from Elmhurst Occupational
Health in the amount of $913.00 for pre-employment medical testing
for a police officer candidate. It was moved by Secretary, Kyle Dolan,
seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to approve payment of
the bill. Motion carried.

I. Correspondence
The Board received a copy of a memorandum from Village Manager,
Scott Niehaus to Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski authorizing the
hiring of one police officer.
J. Unfinished Business
There was discussion about removing the application fee for
firefighter/paramedic application process. It was moved by Secretary,
Kyle Dolan, seconded by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey to remove
the application fee. Motion carried.

M. Executive Session
It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by
Secretary, Kyle Dolan to adjourn to executive session at 8:10 a.m.
Motion carried.

reconvened at 8:17 a.m.

It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by
Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to extend a final offer of employment
to police candidate, Isaac Pizana. Motion carried.
It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by
Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to extend a conditional offer of
employment to police candidate, Rodrigo Del Valle. Motion carried.
It was moved by Vice Chairman, Kenneth Florey, seconded by
Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski to send a denial letter of employment
to police candidate, Nathan Kerr. Motion carried.
O. Adjournment
It was moved by Chairman, Thomas Rachubinski, seconded by Vice
Chairman, Kenneth Florey to adjourn the meeting of the Lombard
Board of Fire and Police Commissioners at 8:20 a.m. Motion carried.
