Funds are requested to provide (5) $1,000 scholarships to the Lilac Court members. 6.0 New Business 230025 Local Tourism Grant Application 2023 - Lilac Sale Grant request from the Lombard Garden Club in the amount of $2,000 from Hotel/Motel funds to cover the cost of the purchase of lilacs and associated items such as pots and potting soil. The event will take place May 11, 2023. The event is scheduled to take place on July 25, 2023. 230041 Local Tourism Grant Application 2023 - Spooktacular Grant request from the Downtown Lombard Business Alliance in the amount of $10,000 from Hotel/Motel funds to cover the cost of Village Services (Public Works, Police, Fire), Waste Management costs, and any activities that are not covered by sponsorships. The event will take place on October 22, 2023. 230042 Local Tourism Grant Application 2023 - Jingle Bell Jubilee Grant request from the Lombard Chamber of Commerce in the amount of $3,000 from Hotel/Motel funds to cover the cost of Village Services that involve blocking off Park Avenue between St. Charles Road and Michael McGuire Drive.
