Jenelle Metcalf, Lombard Junior Women's Club (LJWC) presented the
grant request for the 2023 Lombard Beer Fest. The LJWC has grown

broader. The event would be similar to the Lombard Ale Fest which was
handled by the GEHS Boosters. Jenelle is a special event planner at
the Morton Arboretum and is working with Joe Chavez from
Ravenswood Events. Both Jenelle and Joe have extensive experience
in planning craft beer festivals. The philosophy is to focus on local
breweries and expand in the future.

vendors, and tickets. Joe Orsolini, Committee Member, raised
questions regarding hotel stays, and the costs of the event.
A motion was made by Nancy Schukat , seconded by Amy Lebeau to approve
