The motion passed by unanimous vote. 5.0 Old Business 160085 Long Range Plan Update FAQ regarding the Senior Taxi Subsidy program will be handed out to the Committee. Village of Lombard Page 1 Community Relations Committee Minutes September 12, 2016 Survey of local municipalities regarding their newsletter procedures in relation to digital vs. print. Review new timeline of Pride printing beginning in 2017. The Committee reviewed communication efforts related to the Long Range Plan including the Taxi Program FAQ and the Long Range Communications Plan. Staff Liaison Avis Meade distributed information regarding the newsletter practices of DuPage County municipalities. The information showed that the 2017 decrease of the Pride printing from 6 to 4 times annually is in line with other DuPage communities. 150372 National Citizens Survey Livability reports will be presented to the committee. An overview of the upcoming Village Board workshop, scheduled for January 19, 2017, will be presented. The Committee reviewed the National Citizen Survey questionnaire. 160274 Senior Fair 2016 Review Senior of the Year nomination submissions and select a Senior Man and Senior Woman to be announced at the 2016 Senior Fair. The Community Relations Committee selected Marymae Meyer and Steve Spoden as the 2016 Senior Woman and Senior Man of the Year.
