The motion passed by unanimous vote. 5.0 Old Business Village of Lombard Page 1 Community Relations Committee Minutes January 9, 2023 6.0 New Business 230026 2023 Victim Services Contract - Association for Individual Development (A.I.D.) The Village contracts with the Association for Individual Development (A.I.D) to assist employees and community members experiencing a crisis. Services provided include crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, education, information, and referral for victims of crime and/or trauma, the mentally ill, witnesses, and communities. The Community Relations Committee will review usage in 2022 and consider the 2023 Victim Services contract. The Committee is asked to review the Victim Services contract with A.I.D. for 2023. Nicole provided an overview of the services provided and the historical usage of the program. In 2022 there were 83 Victim Service cases impacting 129 clients, and totaling 350 service hours. The Committee agreed that the services should be extended. recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval 7.0 Other Business 8.0 Information Only 9.0 Adjournment A motion to adjourn was made by Barbara Ware and seconded by Gladys Piper at 7:10 p.m. The motion to adjourn passed unanimously.
