The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Trustee Foltyniewicz. 2.0 Roll Call Present 9 - Reid Foltyniewicz, Mary Cation, James W. Hogan, David Cain Jr., Dan Hartweg, Jay Tovian, Ambareen Ahmed, Randy King, and Michael Himmes Staff Present: Tim Sexton and Jamie Cunningham 3.0 Public Participation None 4.0 Approval of Minutes It was moved by Cation, seconded by Tovian, to approve the minutes of the January 28, 2019 meeting. The motion carried by the following voice vote: Aye: 8- Mary Cation, James W. Hogan, David Cain Jr., Dan Hartweg, Jay Tovian, Ambareen Ahmed, Randy King, and Michael Himmes 5.0 New Business 190173 Revenue Information on Home Rule Tim Sexton reviewed information on specific revenues, and the differences between home rule and non-home rule. This information was requested by the Committee and does not advocate for a particular position on home rule status. 190174 Pending Legislation for Non-Home Rule Municipalities Tim Sexton reviewed the memo provided to the Finance and Administration Committee regarding pending legislation for non-home rule municipalities. Specifically mentioned was the use of 25% of Hotel/Motel Tax for economic development and capital infrastructure. 6.0 Other Business 7.0 Review of Financial Information Village of Lombard Page 1 Finance & Administration Meeting Minutes April 22, 2019 Committee The March, 2019 Financial Report was provided to the Committee. 8.0 Future Meeting Dates May, 2019 meeting cancelled.
