Eileen Mueller led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call Present 4 - Tom Fetters, Eileen Mueller, Jack Jones, and Marcy Novak Absent 1 - Jennifer Henaghan Also present: Rita Schneider and Tami Urish, staff liaison. Approval of Minutes The minutes of the April 19, 2016 meeting were approved with no changes by Commissioner Fetters. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Novak. All were in favor, the motion passed. Unfinished Business Village of Lombard Page 1 Lombard Historic Preservation Minutes July 19, 2016 Commission 130270 Chicago, Aurora and Elgin Railroad/ Prairie Path Discussion relative to Commemorative Signage. Commissioner Mueller updated the Committee on the process of obtaining all the photos for the signs. The owner of Randall Bullen Photography was very helpful in arranging higher quality versions of the photos selected by the Committee. The Committee members approved the minor corrections indicated by staff. Staff was then directed to forward these corrections to the sign company and once completed, requested that the Main Street sign be produced for review before the other three signs are produced. New Business 160310 Local Landmarks: 128 - 132 W. St. Charles Road Request to discuss and provide a preliminary conclusion that the property at 128-132 W. St. Charles Road meets one or more of the criteria for designation as a landmark site. (DISTRICT #1) Committee members discussed the application for the property located at 128-132 W. St. Charles Road for designation as a landmark site. On a motion by Commissioner Fetters and seconded by Commissioner Novak, the Local Landmarks Committee voted 4-0 to accept the application for 128-132 W. St. Charles Road with a preliminary conclusion as a landmark site based on Section 32.079(C)(1) and (3). The application will be forwarded to the next Historic Preservation Commission meeting scheduled for July 19, 2016 at 7:30 pm. Adjournment On a motion by Commissioner Fetters and seconded by Commissioner Novak, the meeting was adjourned at 7:07 pm. Village of Lombard Page 2
