Roll Call Present 10 - Rita Schneider, Jack Jones, Patricia Poskocil, Marcy Novak, Tom Fetters, Lyn Myers, Eileen Mueller, Richard Anstee, Jennifer Henaghan, and Stephanie Zabela Absent 1 - Brigitte O'Brien Also present: Tami Urish, Planner I, Staff Liaison Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Commissioner Henaghan and seconded by Commissioner Fetters, to approve the minutes of the meeting on July 21, 2015 with no changes. The motion passed by a unanimous vote. New Business 150451 William J. Mueller Lombard Heritage Award Update on the 2015 award nominations. Commissioner Myers stated that the committee met twice and each member used the same rubric to evaluate the submitted nominations. The committee members were Mary Beth Lynch, Jennifer Henaghan, Stephanie Zabela, Barb Cruiser and Jean Cooper. There were three Village of Lombard Page 1 Lombard Historical Commission Minutes September 24, 2015 submitted nominations. One of the three nominations did not include the application but a letter with a hand written signature without an address or phone number. Commissioner Myers made a motion that based on the submitted review and evaluation of the William J. Mueller Lombard Heritage Award Committee presented, the award recipient is to be the Lombard Cemetery. Commissioner Fetters seconded the motion, all were in favor and the motion passed. The Commissioners discussed the committees and volunteers involved with the recent improvements of the cemetery. Commissioner Myers intends to invite all that can be identified as in the Park District, Public Works, four Lombard grade schools, Cemetery Committee, VFW, Historical Society Board, Lombard Garden Club, Village staff, Bill Mueller and boy scouts. Items for distribution to commemorate the award were also discussed. Adjournment On a motion by Commissioner Henaghan and seconded by Commissioner Fetters, and all were in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 6:55 p.m. Village of Lombard Page 2
