The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 5.0 Unfinished Business 6.0 New Business 110715 FY 2012 Asphalt Paving and Patching, Final Balancing Change Order No.3 Authorizing a decrease to the contract with R.W. Dunteman Company in the amount of $13,453.80. (DISTRICTS - ALL) A motion was made by Robert Bachner, seconded by Trustee Greg Gron, that this Resolution be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval . The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 110716 FY 2012 Asphalt Paving and Patching Phase II, Final Balancing Change Order No. 1 Authorizing an increase to the contract with R.W. Dunteman Company in the amount of $115,654.54. (DISTRICTS - ALL) A motion was made by Dan Mahal, seconded by Arthur Kuehl, that this Resolution be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval . The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 120232 Roosevelt Road Watermain Replacement, Design Engineering Approving a contract with Civiltech Engineering, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $588,969.00. (DISTRICTS #2 & #6) Village of Lombard Page 1 Public Works Committee Minutes May 8, 2012 Dratnol explained why it is necessary to move this work up. This is complicated engineering. Discussion ensued. Bachner: how old is the watermain out there? Dratnol: about 40-50 years old. Kuehl: can't it be lined? Dratnol: things will be looked at when we get going on this. Lots of businesses and utilities involved. Further discussion ensued. Dratnol: looking for a consensus from the committee. Committee approves of this project and would like staff to proceed . Mahal: how long will it take? Dratnol: would like to break up into 3 contracts and proceed over the next 3 years if IDOT is OK with this. Kuehl: what side of road is this? Dratnol: south side of Roosevelt. 7.0 Other Business Kuehl: asked about Finley Road project.
