The motion carried by an unanimous vote. 5.0 Unfinished Business 150009 Proposed Code Amendment for Dumpsters in the Downtown Discussion of construction dumpster regulations in the public right-of-way. (DISTRICTS - ALL) Goldsmith: reviewed memo with the members. All changes requested at last PWC meeting have been incorporated into this amendment. Kaforski: who is responsible for damage caused by the dumpsters? Goldsmith: whoever pulls the permit is responsible. A motion was made by Dan Mahal, seconded by Robert Bachner, that this item be approved . The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 6.0 New Business 150050 FY2014 Sewer Cleaning & Televising, Final Balancing Change Order No. 2 Reflecting a decrease to the contract with Visu-Sewer of Illinois, LLC, in the amount of $0.73. (DISTRICTS - ALL) Goldsmith: reviewed change order with the committee members. A motion was made by John Kaforski, seconded by Dan Mahal that this item be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval. The motion carried by a voice vote. 150054 FY2014 Asphalt Paving & Patching, Final Balancing Change Order No. 3 Approving an increase to the contract with Brothers Asphalt Paving , Inc. in the amount of $7,783.75. (DISTRICTS - ALL) Goldsmith: reviewed the change order with the committee members. A motion was made by John Kaforski, seconded by Dan Mahal, that this Village of Lombard Page 1 Public Works Committee Minutes February 10, 2015 Resolution be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval. The motion carried by voice vote. 7.0 Other Business Kaforski: snow removal went well. Goldsmith: informed the committee about the sidewalk snow removal changes downtown. 8.0 Information Only Glazier: questioned the frozen lines item that was tabled at the last meeting. Goldsmith: apologized and will give the committee a report prior to the next meeting. 9.0 Adjournment Meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM. Joe Glazier and Art Kuehl.
