Project will improve both IPP crossings on Westmore-Meyers Rd. and resurface the project limits between St. Charles Rd. and Roosevelt Rd. There is no lane alteration at all. The alternative project has been titled "Westmore-Meyers Resurfacing and Path Crossing Improvements". Discussion ensued regarding the crosswalks and paving of Westmore-Meyers. A motion was made by John Kaforski, seconded by Arthur Kuehl, that this Resolution be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval . The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 6.0 New Business 170540 Gatz Pond Outfall Project, Change Order No. 1 Reflecting a decrease to the contract with Martam Construction in the amount of $80,036.77. (DISTRICT #5) Goldsmith: reviewed the change order with the committee members present. Discussion ensued regarding utilities. A motion was made by Joe Glazier, Jr., seconded by Robert Bachner, that this Resolution be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval. The motion passed by an unanimous vote. 170549 Roosevelt Road Water Main Lining Phase 2 (East), Final Balancing Change Order No. 4 Village of Lombard Page 1 Public Works & Environmental Minutes January 9, 2018 Concerns Reflecting a decrease to the contract with Fer-Pal Infrastructure, USA, Inc. in the amount of $225,241.31. (DISTRICT #6) Goldsmith: reviewed the change order with the committee members present. Final balancing change order. Discussion ensued regarding additional lining projects. A motion was made by Robert Bachner, seconded by Mike Kuderna, that this Resolution be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval. Motion passed by an unanimous vote. 7.0 Other Business 180028 Electronic Committee Agenda Packets Staff requests committee input regarding this item. Goldsmith: explained that this was an idea to lower costs for this years budget. Poll of committee members present: Kaforski: paper Glazier: either way Bachner: either way but would like software that he could make notes/comments Arnold: paper Kuehl: paper Kuderna: electronic Arnold: let's try to send it out electronic on the next package. Committee agreed to this. Goldsmith: February meeting will have a presentation on pavement management. Try to get packet out earlier than the usual so that committee members can drive the roads. Goldsmith: March meeting will have a group of residents in attendance that would like to have a curbside compost program in Lombard. 8.0 Information Only 9.0 Adjournment A motion was made by Arthur Kuehl, seconded by David Arnold, that this meeting be adjourned at 8:01 PM.
